We seek a full-time home based travel agent, immediately, to support our existing clients for international air tickets.  Strictly commission, contractor basis.  You have nothing to pay or buy (assuming you already have the right computer equipment at home), so this is not to be confused with the many scam programs posing as travel agencies. 

Although our contractors determine their hours, such hours must be consistent 5 days per week, Monday through Friday.

You MUST have at least 5 years experience as a travel agent, and absolute proficiency in at least one GDS.  We use Amadeus but we are used to converting our agents from Sabre, Galileo, and Worldspan.

You MUST be based in North or South America.  Knowledge and fluency of English is an absolute requirement.  We are not concerned about accents provided that your English can be clearly and absolutely understood even via normal telephone voice distortion.

This is not a position for someone new to the travel industry. 

Travelcraft is a BCD Travel Affiliates office.  Our agents are primarily in North America but we do have agents on other continents as well.  At present we need someone who lives in the Americas but would consider Europe.  We regret our telecomm does not work in South Asia or Africa, and we cannot consider agents based in that region.  Our Pacific Rim staffing positions are presently filled.
